Traffic Light District

Ever been stuck at a red light with nobody coming the other way?

Traffic Light District is a puzzle game about timing traffic lights. Take over a district's signals and get the whole place moving. Cars, lorries, buses, and the people trying to cross.

Set the timings. Press play. Watch it jam. Change one number. Watch it flow.

How it works

Program the lights

Give every group of lights a duration and a delay. That is your whole program. No code. Just numbers and a play button.

Then see if the traffic agrees

Every vehicle has a route and drives it properly. Lorries swing wide, buses stop, people cross. Fix one junction and the queue turns up at the next.

Roadmap

  • 25 levels
  • A new level every week, with an online leaderboard
  • Resources: every level produces grain, stone, or whatever the place is good for
  • Buildings that grow: more goals hit, bigger buildings, busier traffic
  • Wider roads, so you can extend the network instead of only retiming it
  • More animation
  • Minigames
  • A mood meter
  • A level editor
  • Mod support
